This is a collaborative event with Calgary Climate Hub where we will be helping individuals create a textile art piece that will be later sewn into a climate justice quilt.
Our volunteers will be helping support participants with:
- hand sewing to attach fabric scraps to their quilt block
- simple embroidery stitches (running stitch, back stitch, satin stitch)
